Minehead is just along the coast.  It is has a twice weekly general market and on a Friday there is a farmer's market selling local produce.  A harbour is in the town.  Butlins is here too and daily passes can be purchased.

Watchet is 2 miles along the coast to the west. This is a quaint little town with narrow streets, a marina and museum.

Dunster is a 10 minute drive. It is a small medieval town with its own castle.

Exmoor is on our doorstep

with it's dramatic coastline

and pretty villages

Also within a short drive are the Quantock Hills, Porlock, Lynton & Lymouth.
